Canadian Citizenship Application

Become Canadian by obtaining your citizenship! Not only will you be able to live in Canada forever, but you’ll also have access to everything that makes our country unique, diverse and a haven for future generations, including a Canadian passport. As your experts in Canadian citizenship applications, Glacier Immigration can help you become a proud citizen of this great country. Let’s start your application today.

The Canadian citizenship application process requires you to be a permanent resident, having lived in Canada for at least 1095 days within the past five years. From there, you have to gather documents and submit an application before taking a citizenship test and having an interview. If successful, you will have to take the Oath of Citizenship which certifies your status as a citizen.

You have to be a permanent resident, having lived in Canada for at least 1095 days within the past five years (which can include your stay as a permanent resident or on other visas, such as spousal sponsorship), be proficient in either French or English and have no criminal charges. We can provide you with more information on your qualifications after we have spoken to you.

Once you become a Canadian citizen, you can apply for your passport. You will need to provide proof of Canadian citizenship (original copy only), documents to support your identity and two identical passport photos. We can guide you through this process.

Anywhere! You’ll be accepted into most countries without a visa. Canada also accepts dual citizenship so that you can keep your passport from your country of origin.
